How long does mesh integration last?

With proper care and maintenaince, your mesh system can last nine months to one year. Regular maintenance appointments every 3-6 weeks will ensure your system remains secure and looks its best.

How much does the hair cost with Mesh Integration?

I go to the gym and like to exercise can I still get a Hair Replacement System?

Yes, the hair replacement systems we fit are completely breathable which means you can still enjoy a good work out without having to worry about itching or movement. We recommend using a lose ponytail.

Can I still go swimming with the hair systems in place?

Yes, you can still go swimming although we don’t recommend getting your hair system wet. The chlorine can be damaging to the hair much like it is to natural hair, so if you do get to wet, when you come out of the pool make sure to give your gorgeous locks a deep conditioning treatment.

Will my hair system become tangled more frequently in comparison to natural hair?

You may find that when you wake up in the morning, your hair system is a little tangled, this is also the case for anyone with long hair or extensions. You just need to be careful when brushing the hair, start from the bottom and work your way up. We also recommend if at all possible purchasing a silk or satin pillow, if you are someone who moves a lot in their sleep, it will prevent the hair from tangling.

How is Mesh Integration applied?

Mesh is applied on problem areas (extreme thin hair, see-through areas, or bald spots.) and your natural hair is pulled through the mesh using beads. The mesh creates a barrier allowing your natural hair to breath and grow and preventing breakage. It can be done on the entirety of the head or just an area. On top of the mesh, real human hair extensions are sewn adding thickness, and volume, covering problem areas, and allowing them to grow.

If the problem area includes the top crown/part line, a hair topper provides a realistic-looking part line (undetectable) that can be added. Mesh Integration is fully customizable to YOU.

Is a silk or lace topper better?

Lace Closures are great because it gives you a flat and smooth appearance.

A silk base closure looks more like the scalp but is best to wear on a mesh system with a fringe as it’s sometimes can be hard to blend the silk base at the front without your client needing a fringe.

Silk base may not lay as flat but gives a much better finish when styled correctly.

Can I use Root Spray with my topper closure?
We never advise to use root spray on a closure. Using root spray will add chemicals to the closure, damaging the base and causing more shedding. As soon as we see a small patch in our clients closure on a maintenance appointment, we should be warning them that they may need to buy a new one for their next appointment and advising the client what they may of done to cause this shedding.

• Wash maximum once a week to extend the lifespan.
• Only wash the closure in the shower to avoid the matting and maintain the parting.
• Only use conditioner on the mid lengths and ends, never on the root of the closure.
• Using conditioner can loosen the knots of your closure.
• Shampoo gently using circular motions avoiding scrubbing, avoid washing upside down (Over the bath)
• Apply leave-in conditioner and oil as needed (mid lengths and ends only)

• Protect hair from chlorine and saltwater when swimming.
• Shield hair from direct sunlight in hot climates.
• Always dry the closure , brush with care and use heat protection.
• Avoid hard brushing and use the recommended boar bristle brush.
• Our closures can be curled, straightened and blow dried, heat protection should always be used

• Hair closures can shed due to excessive scratching, using tape, using conditioner on the root & brushing too hard.
• Hair stuck to hair tape will be ripped out of the closure, causing shedding and reducing the lifespan of the closure.
• Ensure you hold the hair when brushing and work your way up to avoid hard brushing.
• Closures are very delicate and require careful aftercare.
• Closures have an approximate lifespan upto 9 months however we usually recommend 6 months before wear and tear will start to happen.
• We recommend wearing a silk bonnet or using a silk pillow case when you sleep.
